INTRODUCTION TO MUSIC
The 12 session introductory program at The Kairos School of Music introduces our students to basic musical concepts.
The course aims at developing a strong foundation for rhythm and pitch which would facilitate the musicianship in a child. It also focuses on important building technical skills and music reading.
Developing the knowledge of different styles, textures and importance of dynamics in music through intensive ear training is also an integral part of the curriculum.
INSTRUMENT
The instrument training program focusses on developing technique through the use of appropriate exercises, building the ability to improvise using the scales learnt and developing an understanding of the instrument's role in different styles.
The use of the metronome in order to facilitate a deeper sense of rhythm is also promoted.

Meet the Team

Founder & Principal Program Director
Karishma Aggarwal
Karishma founded Kairos at 18 with just 3 students and has since nurtured over 150 through her warm, joyful approach to music.
Known for her golden retriever energy — and her actual golden retriever, who might be even more popular — she brings fun and heart to every lesson.
A certified pianist from Trinity College London, Karishma is passionate about improving the quality of Western music education in India. She strives to create a space where children can process their emotions and feel inspired — because she truly believes music has the power to heal, connect, and uplift.

Head of Piano Faculty
Ruth Quadros
Ruth Quadros is a classically trained pianist, certified by Trinity College London, with experience teaching over 100 students since 2020. Her lessons offer a supportive space for growth, learning, and the occasional dad joke—eliciting giggles, groans, or both.
Since joining Kairos in 2023, Ruth has brought her passion for piano and vocals to both the classroom and the stage, helping students hit all the right notes—musically and joyfully.

Studio Coordinator & Vocal Coach
Vedika Singh
Meet Vedika, a vocal prodigy with a rare blend of Hindustani classical mastery and Western music finesse.
From lending her voice to Anant Ambani's Vantara campaign to voicing jingles, she’s already made an impact. At Kairos, she’s shaping the next generation as a studio coordinator and vocal coach, making every lesson an inspiring experience.
Also fluent in Gen Z-lingo, she leaves Karishma utterly baffled—every “slay” and “this vibe is giving” feels like a linguistic jump scare. Duolingo, take notes.

Chief Happiness Officer ( CHO)
Luna Aggarwal
Strutting into Kairos like she owns the place (because, let’s be honest, she kind of does), Luna takes her role as Chief Happiness Officer very seriously. With a wag in her step, a sparkle in her eye, and just the right amount of sass, she brings warmth, energy, and connection to the workplace. Beloved by students and staff, she plays a key role in nurturing a positive, welcoming environment — one tail wag at a time.
